newer does not mean better it means the same, the VG30e was made from 1983 to 2004 and the machining and building process stayed the same... the engine stayed the same and tolerances stayed the same... the technoloy changed. ;)

did YOU do the wiring for the SR or did you pay a shop or your friend to do it? trace back all the wires. although the problem is weird because the turn signal and A/C run on their own circuits.

alarms are not the problem he probably had an alarm. If someone wants your car bad enough not even a alarm will stop them. keys and alarms keep honest people honest. even if you had some kinda fuel disconnect or whatever your car can still be stolen without ever being started.
