I've only drifted once in over a year (since I crashed), so I hope you dont mind the suckiness.

you guys that got into this in the last 1.5-2 years are so spoiled about how many and prices and you still find room to complain about something. CFRC is great on tires, nothing to really hit, and variable course design. Desoto is cheaper, beat to shit, walls/tractor tires/poles to hit, dirty. take your pick, but the prices on both is very fair imo.

all of this....and adam is right my first drift event i was in was years ago at moroso for 100 bucks on a skidpad! did not complain other then the fact i was a horrible drive then

so true i remember paying 100 for the skidpads back in the day and we didnt bitch about it we were just happy to get seat time. personally id love to drive every event but cant afford to do it and keep my car up and going.

But 40 is an awesome price for events, even more so seeing that it's 10 minutes away. I remember when moroso was one of the only places to slide and it was 100 just for a skid pad with cones, or countyline which was 55 bucks and like 50 in gas to get there and back. If my car was running right I would be sliding this event for sure!

You are not making a very good impression on this forum.

I can't believe anyone would complain about track time for $40 bucks. OSW used to be 75 bucks, every moroso event was 100 bucks, the fairgrounds parking lot was 100 bucks. You were lucky to get a spot back in the day. Fair grounds events would sell out in a matter of hour when pay pal would open. 40 spots in 2 hours.

funny part is...no one on here even knows why im not going to be sliding the event...but ok, im not getting into this again d00d...IDC what you think. you don't know me...And as for time and money into something you do...If this is someone you respect and is an icon for your sport wow. all he has done is bad mouthing me and killing my stoke, and fill me with more negitivity. he is not much of anything than another guy who can slide their car. COOL. He shreds, we know.not many people on here have shown me their love and passion for the sport...all you guys do is see who came one up or flame someone better...learn to have some class and respect peoples opinions and keep negitive comments to yourself. If your going to write back with more negitivty on this post then please just PM me and we can talk. We dont need to keep this nonsense all over the forums. ^ we are saying that we have been around for awhile and can't understand why anyone would bad mouth a venue due to a price that is in fact very reasonable. Most people on this forum don't know you at all so when you come in and start saying things like $40 to drift legally on a skid pad is wayy too much, People who have been around since 2003 or earlier take it as disrespectful for what we all have worked for from the beginning.

The whole community in Florida has worked very hard to have so many venues and it has been just recently the prices have been dropping and becoming more reasonable, so idk how you can't understand why some of the more established drifters the ones who have been paying their dues for 4+ years get a bit miffed when you expect track time to be cheap when myself and others have invested thousands of dollars in track time.

Its a bit insulting really.
 
The funny thin is, is that you made it about money, an now you're crying that people are telling you how it is. We have alot of passion for this sport, bu if you're complainging about 40$ to drift, you obviously don't.

Talking about having class, and complaining about spending $40 to drive an event are two completely different things. You dug yourself too deep bro, there's no turning back now. The best thing you can do is just stop.

Thank you for being reasonable this time...I would be sliding this event BUT i'm parting together parts for KA-T. I would pay that to slide if i was'nt doing so. i have lots of money trust me...Some of the ppl on here though have really been no asset to the forum, other making it full of negitivity. I can tell the people who really love and have a passion for it. Like you, you obv. care and are taking your time to explain to me. as for fcsbmx, stop being a doushe and relax, if i hear you say bro one more time i might implode. Ok i'm done talking, this thread should realloy just be clsed. I'll be out there saturday and for whomever wants some footy get at meh =)
