No Spark!

so i finally put my car back together yesterday and it wont start, i know for a fact that the battery is bad, but it tried to jumpstart it and nothing, it cranks but wont start up, i am getting no spark to my spark plugs, the plugs as well as the wires are both brand new, i am thinking the external coil might be bad but ive never actually seen them go bad, i tried using at test light and i tested the little thing that hooks up to the wire and the light did not go off, so im wondering could the external coil be bad or wat else could the problem be?
 
igniter ship is with the coil i believe a 3 wire plug, coil is 2 wire, did u mess with timing? if the timing is off alot it wont spark
 
well it was running about 2 weeks ago and i decided to redo alot of shit and now that i put it back together it wont start, it was running like three weeks ago... and i havent touched the distributor since it was running so i dont think its that, and im pretty sure the timing as done pretty well wen i swapped the dizzys before i started tearing it apart ( gut feeling lol)

its fine no smell nothing just smell gas from the motor wen i start it, and the wiring iactually read up alot on it before i did it and i had someone who actually had their shit wired up and theirs was wired up just like mine so my shits str8

found it... im an idiot lol

i forgot to connect a plug and it was hiding from me lol, still waiting for my dad to come home tho to start it up for the first time in 3 weeks
 
lmfao damn dood, yeah i had the same freak accident, my fc wouldnt start and just found out after a month it was the fucking relay =(

god i feel retarted...
 
yea same here i was reading this thread and i rmbrd someone said three plugs, and i could only think of two in my head so i went down to look and i had a missing one so i traced it back and found the disconnected plug :D i havent started it yet cuz my dad wont let me but ill start it tomorrow after school
