1998 Nissan 240sx KA24E engine swap...

Yeah i got it installed and it took 2 hour's now to fuck with all the wiring...

Gotta get this up and running before friday if you have any input on what need's to be done i dont care about tach and speedo just want it to run

I'm 95% sure I'm Thee only person to swap this into an S14... 100% that it's never been done to a 1998 of all the years... ROFL... Sorry guy's but a desperate man call's for desperate measure's

Talk about being UNIQUE... In a bad way... I seriously dought that after i get this running i will Ever open the hood willingly...

this has most definatly been done before your not the first person to have done this.

with that being said, it really makes no sense to have gotten and inferior motor that is why you wont find much of any information on it. honestly you could have saved up just a few hundred dollars and gotten a ka24de and this would have been a simple swap.

you need to change the ps lines either get a stand alone ecu or convert the car to a obd1 to run the motor. that single cam simply doesnt have all the sensors needed to run that motor without throwing check engine lights.

PROBLEM IS I HAVE NO MONEY TO MY NAME... like at all not even a dollar... haha
... i have plenty of tools and things to get it done ive been reading up on the wiring diagrams from an 89 S13 for ever...

I can't find ANY information about SOHC into an S14 PERIOD If you can please humor me.

I really don't care about throwing check engine light's etc. i just want it to drive. PERIOD. ONLY REASON FOR THIS SWAP. I already disabled the EGR and a few other little things that i didn't want. I just need to figure out how to get the car running.

... I have a KA24DE problem is i ran out of money and a measly 60 bucks wont finish it. I got about 280 i still owe to get it out of the machine shop. When i get it out and finish it i will swap it to how the car is SUPPOSED to be ran lol...

Best bet is to crash it and tell insurance it's stock. Actually make some $$.

No insurance, no tag, no nothing right now sooo I don't see how that will pan out...

you will not be able to get that car runing with a s14 ecu. had you gotten the complete swap with the sohc ecu and harness then it would have been doable but without that... no go

I have the complete S13 the engine came out of. I have the ECU,Wiring harness,coil and everything else.

The plugs don't match to plug into the interior harness and I was just curious if anyone thinks i would fry my car... Let alone how to hook it up to power everything. Should i run a cable from the battery going threw a ballast do drop the voltage to 6v i mean. I honestly and stumped. theres all kinds of info on swapping to a dual cam but no one has said anything about swapping to a Sohc... at least in an S14... let alone a obd2 S14...

I really didn't want to rip out the dash and crap.

I have it almost completely put together already but just need help on the wiring aspect of getting it running. I swapped the PS lines from the S13 with the resevour to the car already so PS will work...
 
i really dont know what to tell you since this swap is completly fucking retarded... if you have the complete s13 that this came out of i would have tried to sell that for a motor and been done.. like i said you have a big fucking mess in your hands and i honestly cant help you much more then what i have. i would try to look up the people that have done the swap and emailing them or something and asking them for help/tips.
 
part out and sell the shit off that s13 including this peice of shit motor and you might/should have enough to buy a fucking ka24de.
