Wheel refinishing

Hey Guys just thought I'd show off 2 1/2 hrs of work I did this after noon

Lowriskscc (Zack) Gave me these wheels and they were in pretty nasty condition corrosion wise.

very nice, what exactly did you do, i hear somthing for re-olishing the wheels you use a scuff pad but ussually theres clear coat on them?

Lots of sanding and lots of polishing. I shall be doing the same soon lol. Good job though, they're coming out great.

Damn good job, Looks like new.

Wet Sand + Mothers Polisher does the job for me.

I used a Drill with a Thick open weave scuff brush to take the wheel down to bare metal cause any coating that is on the wheel before is screwed up already. Then got in with a little scrub brush in all the crevices and the used mother alloy polish and a brush that goes on my drill, did that about 3 times. Then maked off all I didnt want black sprayed adhision promoter then did the black and I did the Gold with a foam brush then any excess I took of with my drill and scuff brush.

Then a couple coats of clear.
