guys i own a s13 with dohc ka.
i noticed my coolant reservoir emptys everytime i fill it.
soo somewhere it is leaking...
i didnt take much of it as i was never overheated.
Well yesterday i was driving and i put on the ac. Then the temp. needle went up 3/4 up soo i backed off and pulled over to prevent it from going higher.
i poured some water in the radiator a little and let it cool down...
drove home and was confused cause i didnt see any leaks or anything.
Today i drove for 10 mins and all was good but when i parked up i saw coolant dripping hard down the crank pulley on the sway bar and to the floor.
soo immediately i assume my water pump is leaking...Right? it can't be no where else?(from area)
i check the visible hoses above and they seemed dry.
More than likely its my waterpump that is leaking. My question is do i just remove it, clean it and seal back?
i mean once it leaks do they go bad? how do i check a water pump's condition?
The fsm says check for play. plz help me thx sorry for the long story
