wat R common issues from sohc to a dohc

yup the harness is from dohc except the sub harness like the one for the starter altenator to the fuse box and main positive wire to the battery. oh yeah the dash harness is the sohc too. none of the censors r getting power neither is the ecu
 
You put a battery charger on the car. The red goes to your left front wheels most top lug nut and the black connects to your Passenger Mirror.








Do you have the schematics and know what your doing? Are your sure you have power hooked up? Does interior lights come on? Does it turn over? More specific.
 
you have to use the dash connector from the SOHC
... that and the power steering side swap are the only problems, unless you are also going from auto to stick.. in which case you have to bypass the neutral safety switch...
 
hey srry bout the thread jack but i got a question similar to dat... can i use a dohc automatic harness for a manual transmission swap and all i would need is the ecu for the manual setup
 
^im using a auto wiring harness and auto ecu in my 5 speed car you just have to by pass the neutral saftey switch you dont need the manual ecu but the overdrive light flashs every once in a while but it drives nice.
