is it good to have my stock ka23de to be ran advanced to 15 degrees timing??
previous owner set it on that... what are the pros and cons on this ???
i run 93 octane if that matters...

which will result better power... stock or advanced.. plz let me know

yes ill be the first to do this!!

YOU HAVE A STOCK KA23DE?? thats so rare!!....just kiddin just being an asshole, now that thats over with...15 degrees is aaaalooot! retard that definetly...i bumped mine up 3 degrees but didnt want to go any more and still ended up blowing it up, but that was because i was clutch kicking at red line at osw lol but thats besides the point. If your not under forced induction advancing timing a little isnt bad but run 93 so it doesnt ping, but dont retard it past stock ot youll have no power, so yea retard it to about 24/25, i think 21 is stock

im sure advancing it is faster than stock but 15 degrees past stock is kinda high

if you have your ign timing too advanced it will detonate and loose power. Over the internet i can suggest 3 degrees of advance on 93 octane will give you better fuel effeciency and power. But the power gains are minimal to nothing on a stock engine.

Here is a tutorial on how to properly set your ignition timing. Remember to look at the TDC pin from a 45 degree angle(put your head off to the right side a little bit), looking strait down on the tdc pin is inaccurate.

20* BTDC is factory timing at 700 rpm.
