As for the other pics.... sick stuff. :D

PS... that's a Levin converted Trueno if I'm not mistaken.

Paz used to run a black levin, I believe this is actually an imported trueno (no truenos in the UK) and he upgraded to fiberglass fenders and hood. Paz is sponsored by RUN FREE

From what I understand he actually didn't spin, not to mention again, that he did win that competition :bigthumbu

Exactly why I figured it was a conversion... especially with all the color mismatching.

Anywho... great stuff, but I'd still like to know what happened in that slide.

I showed a pic of his steering angle while parked to some 86 guys and noone can believe it, it looks like the tierods are disconnected. But yea, his tires rub on his frame rails and tension rods, so he got extended and adjustable LCA to push the bottom of the wheel out even more and widen the front track, I believe he runs about 4.7 degrees of camber. He's running a Manual Steering rack, PS knuckles, Ueo Inner and Outer Tie rods, and I beleive Battle version spacers as well, this guy is ridiculous.

Found the pic for you guys, enjoy...

Jesus that is a lot of angle, but the reason why I ask is because he is sliding on the front wheels as well. The only pic I have of my doing that ended up in a spin. lol

AE86 angle ftw. . .

Great angle. . .looks familiar for some reason hmm :D . If I remember correctly you can only use either the Batteversion spacer or the Ueo Style tie rods not both together. I wish I can say for sure but I need Club4AG back :( . The car in drfting that I've seen with the most angle would have to be Ken Maeda's Yellow 86, I'm sure they did custom pieces for the car. It supposely had notches cut out because of the added angle. If any of you have the D1 USA round in California Speedway you'll see it, looks like he is 90degrees sideways  . I'll see if I can post the differences with pics and everything if there's any interest in that.

Yea, I've read people suggesting to cut notches in the frame to allow the tire to pass, didn't know someone had tried it yet. Totally insane!

You don't have to do that(kinda depends on the offset of your rims though). The reason Ken Maeda did it was because he has more angle than most D1 86s, for whatever reason. I think I may know what he did but takes some custom work. One of the problems that is annoying is hammering the frame part(closer to the firewall area) in for clearence, sometimes you have no choice but to add caster to clear it.

PS Remind me to send you all the info on steering angle in the 86 when I get on AIM.

^^^^^ uye never yanked the e-brake and slammed on the brakes mid drift???????

Thank you! Finally someone got it! Also, 86s are known for entering drifts with all 4 tires sliding, especially true with the guys who run 14 inch wheels. I've seen a few 15 inch wheel Corollas sliding all 4, but not as many as the 14 inch users. Paz is one of the few to be able to do that. Paz is an amazing driver, and his car is hot. I am not crazy about his current paint job, but it's still a bad ass car. I liked his blue. :bigthumbu

Yeah I was there and I'll tell you what Ken's Car was fuggin SICK! I mean he qualified 1st just because of how crazy his entry angle was and he also came in the fastest.

His practice runs were amazing
