f_ck it GOJIRA go go ゴジラ!
Driver
i think we all agree that hearing the infamous chassis code of the non-existent Nissan 240zx and having the names of the drivers on track get mixed up hurts the ears.
it not good for the crowd, especially for the newbies at a drifting event.

sfl should collaborate better with the track owner to solidify getting our own announcer. this would/should? hype the crowd up and the actually knowledge of the sport would not be question. the best example we have of this was when e30 gangsta, AKsamuraiS14 and others held it down.
all it takes is to be organized to point that the announcer should have an agenda of what the track owner wants to announce at what time of the day just that he can be happy.

i mean who wouldn't want to be at an event where the announcer has the crowd captivated and entertain at the same time.
i know i would

LoL dude tim and everyone of us would love to have this but the track owner simply just let anyone get a word out on the mic he had us handle the mic once and david was the MC...Pete just kept coming up on the mic and talking over David. Our plans were to set up like a little Tsuchiya and Orido talk show where they are clowning all over the place but Pete is crazy at the track and won't let anyone do it

yeah I remember that, even I was talkin' on it at one point introducing the drivers, and hewould just walk up take it away, say something give it back, and kept doing it.
it would be nice, I just don't think its gonna happen :[ sadly.

so we should bring a couple of club speakers and and table and a microphone...and a Rockband for the people that gets bored in the pit time lol

LOCKO

isn't he the owner or some ish like that? if he owns the place, I doubt he'd bow out of "mc"ing that easily, that old man loves to be on the mic lol

We tried all of this even if we made money off of this to pay a announcer to announce it still wouldn't work.

the guy wants to feel useful, so he gets the mic.... but in reality man who cares, i am there to drift not to listen to the owner talk... all the other events we have been to, OSW/OCALA/OCCC/WPB/MOROSO there is no one announcing.... Most of the time i am not even listening i am out there improving myself and having fun.... I dont see why the drama about a new MC...
