well im watchin discovery channel.... there showing this thing on future cars that im really afraid of. there marking the end of gasoline. they are also showing all the many different future replacments for it. at first i was kinda scared but then the show took a turn that i liked. it was focusing on how to make performance cars (super cars) with alternate fuels. they began to talk about one thing that interested me alot and might look into it was ethenol. they build a car w/ 450 hp 0-60 in 4 secs. the car does like 30mpg and it runs on corn liquor. they spoke about the octane rating on fuels and ethenol and how ethenol octane rating is some were around 115 and a ton cheaper than gas. 
higher compresion. i dunno i thought id share with u all wat i am wathcing cuz its real interesting and im not so afraid of loosing gasoline.(did any one else have that fear ) well i would love to here anyones opinion on this .
