Ter-Tech reveals its 2009 D1 Underground Drift Series

Holy shit i cannot believe i gave up on the idea to go to the qualifier. I will be back in California during the series so i figures there is need to go. I wish all the luck that this series does really well and helps get some deserving drivers to the next step.
 
TER TECH FTMFW. Damn i remember only a couple years ago i just heard of ter tech and now hosting events under the d1 name. harri is blowing it up.
 
sweet stuff, wish I had it 2 weeks ago when I was sending out proposals lol but looks like an update is needed.

but what does it mean the top 4 get to drive D1 in the normal ranks? at the end of the year? or?

there will be amateur qualifying at all the D1GP events and you need to qualify in that to go for the D1 Pro qualifyer well with our series you pre qualify straight into the D1 pro qualifyer so you can use the Amateur qualifying as a practise with no pressure, since you are allready qualifyed. if you make the top 30 on the D1 pro qualifyer you'll go to the main day against the D1 Pros.
 
oooh, so like the other one (TX) gets you invited to show up to the actual D1 (CA) and try to qualify for tandem. Where as we can go straight to CA.

But only the top 3(according to biz) or 4(according to ter-tech) ranked at gainesville. So this event is going to be a qualifer with ranking scores.... interesting.
 
yes originally it was supposed to be 3 but got phone call today from D1 and they said we can do 4. So that why the mix up. The reason TX has events is cause I hooked Aaron up with D1 We been talking to them for several months now. There will also be D1 underground in Indianapolis and I'm trying to help them get an organiser in New York area, need to get a hold of Petty so if you have his number give it to mua.
 
Harri im confused is d1 qualifying going to be only at gainsville or at all your events i need to know asap because if i have to i will buy tires somewhere and rent truck trailor on my credit card and head to g-ville 2morrow. I'l call you in the morning Harri. Thanks

No all the Ter-Tech events in -09 will be D1 Underground events. So no need to buy tire etc... you'll have plenty of time.
