Ter-tech Made It To The Newspapers!!!

The secret, he tells me, is to trust yourself. When you're scared, it shows.

"If you don't let go of that fear," he says, "you crash."

That's not really what I said haha. W/e, I guess its kind of true. :bigthumbu

LOL the guys says, the young crowd looks for affordable cars and at the same time they are showing a boosted M3 and the boosted Z33. LOL. but good one anywayzzzzzz thanks erick.

That was one of the best written news articles about any type of drift event I have ever read. (That being it was written by a guy that had no clue as to what it was. )

that was written by Brian.. he was a really nice guy, got to talk to him about drifting out on the course while he was taking pics.

u shoulda seen his smile after harri took him for a ride

In all honesty, it's a fairly well written article for someone who was unaware of the sport. To go out of his way to hear the words of Edward Loh from Sport Compact Car and to double check his sources again was pretty smart of him.

Much better than that Herald article for South Florida Sideways '04.

"There seems to be a high proportion of former skaters who have turned to drifting. Many, as they head into their late teens and early 20s, have found that their bodies don't heal from skating injuries as fast as they used to."

so fucking tru man it took me 5 ankle breaks to finally get off the board.

Good atricle fo sure

Same here. Two broken arms, 1 foot, and one broken hand requiring it to have rods inserted.... I used to love steps and Gaps but i started realizing along the way that my body doesn't :(

i feel ya. broken wrists, a broken collar bone, and a surgery with 2 pins in my arm. teh gay.

but THAT is the kind of article that gives a good name to drifting, and that kind of spotlight is good for the sport. props to the writer and of course tertech

Haha so what does that mean for me? Street and dirt bike rider. From 9-16 (when i got my license) Broke right arm twice, left wrist once. Both ankles who knows how many times, and dislocated my shoulder. Im sick of pain. Haha. Now im 17 and surrounding myself with metal and rubber :)
