t25 Flapper stuck 1/4 open Help Please

hey guys. i have a s13 that was sohc, its stock sr, t25 the flapper is just barely getting stuck open, i can close it with a wrench but once it opens again it gets stuck. At WOT it will make like 5psi but towards the end of power range.

mods Redtop sr, fmic, bov, hks boost gauge

this is my only prob now before the next event and im trying to fix it without haveing to replace the turbo $$$

Can i unstick the flapper/clean it or am i gona have to bite the bullet and save some $$ to get another turbo, ive been searching all day for a flapper fix..lol but cant find anything to helpful.

any info would be awsome.. Thanks guys :driving:

so theres carbon build up on the flapper im gona wire wheel it and clean it up real good in hopes that it works.

lol at the tag. yeah just clean it up if that doesn't work might want to get a better wastegate

yepp.. love the tags..lmao people are funny, its working so far, i havent really got on full boost but so far its working right with normal driving, it was the actual flap getting stuck 1/4 open and not closing all the way, not the actuator.. but thanks for input MrMilan :bigthumbu

Does it get stuck without waste gate arm attached? If its the gate i have one free if you want.
