Starting Problems

I have a s14 with a s13 redtop in it. On occasion my car will sometimes not start. I will turn the key and hear a click, but nothing. If I keep turning the key over and over it will eventually start, or the battery will die. Would this be a relay problem or a starter problem? How can I check which is causing this?

Have you checked all your grounds? Might be something kinda loose

If the ground was bad would the starter even click? or is that the relay I'm hearing?

I live up in Broward. I've noticed a pattern as well. Every morning the car will start up fine, but if I stop the car for about an hour (class) it will almost always give me this problem. If I stop the car and eat lunch it'll do it too. Any thoughts?

make sure your battery terminals aint raunchy!

sounds like it could be the in hibitor relay...
nissans have 2 starter wires before the starter....
start and a secondary which works with the neutral safety
look for the relay....

Is the relay located near the starter or in the fusebox?

in the fuse panel or relay panel...the cover will say inhibit
