sr5 tranE,and 4ag???motor do they bolt o

Hey try going to www.Club4AG.com and click on "tech reference." From there go to "SR5 to GTS Conversion, what's needed?" There's some info that you might find important on there. Always try to go to the "tech reference" first if you have any question about the ae86, chances are it will be in there.

SR5's tranny and GTS are the EXACT SAME transmission with the only difference being the bellhousing. Both will bolt on any 4ac 4age/gze regardless of its color.
i blew 2 of them T50s with a near stock 20v. it sucked swapping trannies + i rigged up a tranny jack by using a stakeboard and 2 car jacks

if you do EVER think about going 4age i recommend you using the GTS bellhousing and move the slave cyl to the passenger's side. i saw from exp. when you beat too much on your car its gonna suck not being able to shift because your slavy cyl will be boiling

or you could heat wrap the exhaust and run a heat sleeve on the clutch slave line.

i have pics somewhere showing less than a 1mm gap between the two...and not just my car i have a friend with a gts conv and i think his line rubs against the exhaust. no heatwrap...like i said you can dd w/ no prob, but it bubles when you drive like a man
