ok i have an sr20det
w fmic fpr walboro...
i get bad gas mileage...and small muttering from time to time but not really smoke....if i put my leg in front of the exhaust...i get like specs of oil on me....
the fuel smell is strong sumtimes too....
my sr runs good boost ok....
she bogs down when rpms d:ugh:rop but rarely ever shuts down....
would this be the valve stem seals or the seals on the turbo....
 
dont even talk about bad gas milleage..im about to burn my s13 , lol, i spend $90 in a week of gas, i know sometimes i drive it little hard..but still. this shit is doing like 18mpg or less

Why are you worrying about gas?
Your turbo seals are going. You should be worrying about your oil levels in the car and get those seals replaced within the next month. Luckily you haven't started smoking badly yet, that's when they are really done for.

Keep an eye on your oil levels.
My seals are starting to go as well, just some words of advice.
 
yeah i got a oil psi gage and i monitor it...
it just seem like oils gettin in the intake trackt and fkn up idle stability...
my consult says theres nuttin wrong
 
nah, I don't think it's either. I get the same exact thing, doesn't feel like oil and doesn't smell like gas. Looks more like little specs of dirty water...

I could be wrong.
 
well i agree it looks like dirty water but its oilly..and it b smellin like fruel
 
I got the same problem. Started happening when my car's turbo seals gave out. Oh...and it only happens during warm up, after that it's gone. As far as fuel, I get well over 24mpg with a good cruise tune.

I'm upgrading the turbo to a 50 trim with a .48 back housing, new top mount manifold, downpipe, etc. If you got the money, just upgrade rather than rebuild.
