sr idle problem

s13 with sr20det red top, stock besides the fmi.
Idles ok most of the time cold or hot, but sometimes after regular driving (no extreme) rpms get too low and the engine dies, it turn over ok again.
is like some times when got to a red light dont idle ok and dies.

No vacum leaks found, if i unplug the maf car dies.

Can i service the Idle air control valve i mean is anything that can be clen or repair?

the car should idle with the maf unpluged it shold not shut off start there

my car was similar, I had a freddy BOV, stock redtop, when the RPM's would drop the car would really wanna just die. I think AFC's have a thing to stop that from happening.

yea if you have a bov that vents to air it might cause it to stall when you decelerate (from running rich), you can either recurcate (sp?) back into the intake after the maf but before the turbo or you could you the safc Deceleration control to fix it.

remove idle air control valve and clean it out using brake cleaner and then pbblaster or something
