Speeding Ticket

Okay so I didn't think I would ever have to start one of these threads, but I got my first speeding ticket, it's $226.50, according to the police officer I was going 60mph on a 40mph street. The cop was a complete dick, he was complaining about having my girlfriends school decal on the front windshield, he was just looking for any excuse to be a dick....so my question is does anyone have a good reference to a ticket clinic or ticket attorney??

Were you in your S13? I always get fucking harassed when I'm in my car. AND WOW first Speeding ticket!!?? Youre my age, so youre doing go so far, lol. You should be able to get out of that ticket no problem.

Your first speeding ticket? Just apply for a court date and go yourself. Since you dont have a bad record 1 of 3 things will probably happen:
1. You get a str8 judge and explain a bullshit story and say your sorry and since you have a good record he dismisses it.
2. Possibility that the officer doesn't show up and it gets dismissed.
3. The judge is a dick and makes you goto one of those 4-8 hour classes which cost's like $50 and dismisses the ticket. Or he might just have you pay a $100 fine.

I've had 5 speeding tickets and have gotten out of all of them myself using the above methods and have never gotten any points on my license and my insurance has never gone up. When cops pull me over it looks as though I have a perfectly clean record.

PS I also have to appear in court the 20th to fight a bullshit ticket a dick cop gave me for "careless driving" when it was raining and the hatch got sideways on a left turn at 15mph since my tread was completely gone in the rear and I popped the clutch by accident since my foot was wet. No damage to property or persons, just had to be a dick cop in the area to see it, hopefully I get a cool judge that understands that ROADS GET WET WEN IT RAINS!

For the passed 4 years, I've gotten at least 3-4 speeding tickets per year. I'm not proud of it. But, I do know that the easiest way to get out of it is to request going to driving school. Its cheap, easy, and will only cost you a 4 hour inconvenience on a saturday morning. Save the ticket clinic for more major shit. (God forbid you ever need it) But I've found the traffic school to be the best choice. Because ultimately you will end up without any points assessed for the infraction. Going to the court (in your case) could possibly benifit you but is probably not worth the risk of the officer showing up. If he got you with the laser, and he shows up, youre pretty much S.O.L. Try the traffic school. Also, you can only go to traffic school once a year from what I understand, so use it wisely and drive safely!

P.s. in November it will make one year since I've gotten a ticket. So for the most part I've been good!

NEVER!

By doing this youre addmitting to being guilty, and are pretty much open to having points assessed to your Driving Record. Avoid doing this at all costs.

If it is your first ticket they garentee No Points, No Fine. They are good people.

DO NOT PAY THE FINE. That is retarded. You get points, Insurance WILL go up! Plus it is 3 times the cost of a Ticket Clinic.

WRONG!!!! Use any ticket clinic or w.e. I was doing 70ish in a 45 n got busted... 80bux made it dissappear... no points, no school, no fees... goodluck
 
not my record! when i go to a ticket clinic they just laugh at my record: 3 tottalled cars, 8 eight accidents, 22 moving viloations, 8 non-moving vilotations and had my driver linc. suspended 3 times! so if ur in my shoes theres no option but pay!!
 
im actually in need help. I got two tickets the other day.

the cops were stopping everyone basically. He gave me to tickets.

one for going 57 in a 35, contruction zone. But there was no workers.. so mine fine better not be doubled, the sign says "fines double when workers are present" But on the ticket it looks like 37 in a 35 (his handwriting sucks) but you arent suppose to get a ticket for going 2 miles over the speed limit. So I suppose its a "57" but I honestly dont think i was going that fast.

and the other ticket for not wearing my seat belt. But I was, I took it off to open my door, sence my window wont go down. but he didnt believe me.

But sadly im driving without insurance right now, thankgod he didnt ask for it, he just asked for my license.. But i dont know what to do. i wanna take it to court. But when you go to court do they, ask for all your info.. Like car insurance and all that, registration.. all that??? Does anyone know?
and if I do pay, I dont know how much it is.. "57" or "37" do i just take it to a traffic clinic?

Ahh, Im in the same boat with you..not knowing what to do?
