hello people.well i connected my sound system setup yesterday.and everything was working fine but then i realized that when i put my radio on cd or connect my ipod the amp turns off. my amp only works on tuner.i checked my wiring and im pretty sure its correct. the headunit didnt have a loc so i bought one and connected it. im using a sony explod headunit with loc, a 760 watt pioneer amp , and a cvr kicker comp 10 inch sub.any help would be greatly appreciated

whats a loc? thats weird are you sure everything is in the right place??? iv connected alot of systems and never had that problem normally when it wrong it just wont turn on lol. then again the wiring is pretty str8 forward

same question and same response ive connected all types of systems and never had that happen unless that head-unit is special and has that option which in that case you would have to find all the wires like for aux which is your ipod and your cd is a weird one but check any how ...uhhh check rca's ground is good relocate just in case and check the remote of the amp usually i run it to an ignition so it turns on when i turn the car on ..check that out i think its the remote

thanks i figured it out.a loc is a line output converter. i had connected the amp to the solid blue wire which is the antenna power.so when i switch to cd or aux the antenna shuts off with the amp.then i discovered the red wire is for ignition/accersory.so i connected my remote control their and SHAZAAM!im dub deucin now. thanks tho
