For the record Tein are not stock.
Not only are they thicker than stock, they're extruded from a more durable material than stock tie rods, and they come w/the spacer for more angle.
I ran my Tein's into a number obstacles, and they lasted YEARS, even a couple rounds of bottoming out my front wheel into my unibody at Drift Buffet (HEINOUS jump coming off the oval). For the money they're pretty good.
The ball joint thing doesn't hurt you unless you're mega low, then an offset heim outer is what you want for bumpsteer correction. I wouldn't run anything Megan on anything essential (suspension, steering, etc.)
