I used some Turtle Wax rubbing compound to remove some small scratches on 2002 oem and then i waxed my car. Well today i washed my car and there is a wierd glare on the spots where i used the rubbing compound, it looks like its took off the clearcoat  . What can i do to get rid of the glare/missing clearcoat. Can i just get a new coat of clearcoat sprayed on?

You have swirl marks. Remember rubbing compound is an abrasive and it does remove the faded layer of clear coat. And it is unfortunate that companies like Turtle Wax. Don't tell the consumer that they need to apply machine glaze in order to remove the swirl marks left by the compound. Best way to apply the machine glaze is an electric buffer. Hand glaze is used in the final proccess to seal the surface. You can do it by hand  but it takes longer to get results that you are looking for.

The following are some products that are great but take heed they are for Professional USE

3M Perfert2 rubbing compound (Med coarse)
3M Perfect3 rubbing compound (Fine coarse)
3M Machine Glaze (two types for dark or lite colored paints)
3M Hand Glaze
3M Wax

Laters and have FUN

be sure that you took all the wax off the car. I use 3 different rags to take off wax. and actually the best \ easiest time to wax you car is at nightfall with a lamp.
