that doesnt mean you invented it. its not like football where you have to invent a ball in order to play or ice skating where you have to invent some sort of skates in order to do it... sure you can come up with the idea but you cant invent it when nothing is really there to invent.

Listen I cant stress this enough to people that the japanies dident invent powersliding they invented an organized way of judgeing it in a competitive senario which is called drifting.People have been sliding cars since the automobiles conception.Also the term "drifting" suggests that a vehicle is in a constant state of lateral motionbefore and after a turn or series of turns.The techeneque that the japanies pioneered in is sliding a car "before" a turn you will never find a video pre Japan drift era of a car sliding 50 to 60 feet before a turn.Excluding ralle but even in ralle early entrys are rarely used since you will scrub far too much speed in order to exicute early entry defeting,the purpose of ralle is to maintain a fast speed since ralle is timed.What they are dooing in the vid is fishtailing or powersliding.Thats wen you maintain a slide after you enter a turn by mashing the gas after the tires exceed ther traction level.I know its hard for some people to grasp but the japanies invented what we do.Which happens to be called drifting.
