ran over parking block in silk road coils

you need to find out if they rebuildable and your probly gonna have to send them in to get rebuilt
 
you need to ask silk road i dont know anyone who has ever ran them so i cant tell you

by being stupid and not paying attention to my surroundings

i was just checking if anyone around here knows about silkroads or rebuilding them, i fucking love those coils and im very worried about them
i feel like i have a terminally ill child
 
i had silkroad rm8 allooong time ago.... yes they can be rebuilt , but i saw mine hit a wall, hit speed bumps at over 60....... shit i put them through hell and never had a problem with them
powered by max has inserts for 100 dolas... just get those and transfer everything over, just ask what diameter the pbm's are and measure yours... but i think you would bust something else first
 
for the record if your ride hasnt changed or alignment and there not leaking then then your ok the springs took the blunt of the impact thats what there for....
 
i havent got a good look at them
and i dont even know what damaged front coils feel like


and again i hoped a curb two nights ago on an unintentional drift
that one was a combination of beer, turning tight into an unknowingly wet intersection, shifting bad due to beer, negative camber, broken left arm and did i mention i was drinking?..... beer

i actually got stuck on the medians curb with my front wheels of the ground
most likely above the legal limit in an unregistered car with a license plate from another 240. thankfully i got the fuck outa there

but the worst part about all this is none of this shit has ever happened during the last 4 years or so of me riding on gas shocks. i think that classifies as a FML
 
take stupid out of your daily routine and it prolly wont happen again for 4 years... jfwy

I dunno about now with the sliding into a curb, but driving over something harsh one time shouldnt have blown them unless you were going like 20+ and just ramped the shit out of it.
