you dont need a harness bar. mines is bolted to the back seat seat belt holes and to the original 2 front seatbelt bottom holes

from what ive read if the shoulder harness isnt at a 20 degree or less angle it will do more harm than it will save ur life

you want the seatbelt bar so you're not crippled when you crash. they're only like a hundred. and i just threw like 50 lbs of misc. bolts and nuts and i had those eye bolts that bolt into the stock threads. sorry

what seatbelt bottom holes? is there anyway u could take a picture and show me??

did your harness brought bolts? usually they do and they are longer than needed so you can clip that in. i will look for them and ill send you a pic (BTW i dunno about S13... i know about s14 and mitsus harness location)

yo if you bolt it to the floor in the back and you crash, your spine will compress and you wont like it.

were should i bolt them down then? i dont have a hundred dollars to go buy the bar or w.e. so wat holes that are already on my 240 should i bolt the sides and back down too???

you save until you can do it properly. Half assing equipment like seats, harnesses, cages, etc can have deadly results. leave it oem for now.

but they do have a angle and position lists (at least my sparcos did not required a bar)

you really don't want shoulder straps mounted below your shoulders, that's the general rule. you can always just get a bar, cut an measure yourself, and have a friend weld a couple mounting plates to it so it bolts to your stock seatbelt mounts. It doesn't have to cost $100 to do it right and there are many welders on this site.

the way i do it in my friends cars is add some flat bar to the rear deck thing were the speakers go, throw a couple welds to hold it in place, then drill that to mount the 2 top straps.

it passes tech at all the events that dont need a cage.

i can do it for 25 dolla. any time, shoot me a pm.
