Are s13 auto to stick conversions expensive?

i need a car, to use for a family car for a little bit, later on when they have their own car i'd like to switch it to manual

Depending on where you source the parts, how thorough you want to be, and whether or not you're doing the work yourself; couple hundred to over $1k.

chris jackson did mine for 1600, and he all brand new parts including a 650 dollar stage four clutch kit with flywheel and everything... he only charges like 400 for labor and he does good work

its just for me, mom and sister.

We needed a car so i was thinking, get an s13 auto for now, switch to manual when she gets her whip and then i end up with the car i want.
