To finish up the 2013 Formula Drift season privateer Pat Goodin finished as the highest ranked Falken driver at Irwindale Speedway. Pat Goodin won the Falken Cup which was a privateer prize for the top ranked Falken privateer. Now, they are flying out Pat Goodin to Las Vegas for the SEMA show and having him wheel the old Falken Mazda Rx-7 at a Discount Tire event as confirmed by his Instagram.
Regardless if Falken Tire plans to expand their program in 2014 of whatever the case may be for them in the future it seems like Pat Goodin is next in line to take someone’s ride or be part of team expansion. His performance this season in a privateer Nisasn 240sx certainly has shown he can have what it takes to compete at the highest level.
