OSW... Rain...

I checked it's supposed to rain and be cold in Orlando on sunday... keep that in mind when you prepair for the trip.. I guess we don't need so many tires then....

I don't know...tires spinning faster under slicker surface seems like it would wear less....my 2cents

remember guys dans an expert at the infamous rain drift...I still have the channel 7 footage on my comp.

well either way g'luck at the events.

I go through less tires in the wet b/c I'm using nowhere near as much throttle and the car just slides easier.

I'm sorry... I have to agree with dori dori on this one. It takes so much less throttle to drift my car in the rain than it does when it's dry.

Yup rain uses less tires because they don't get nearly as hot and they are easier to spin + easier to slide.

you guys dont know drifting until you do it in the snow!!! :D its like wow im a D1 superstar I can drift nonstop...lmao

all i'm saying is dont expect to drift there the whole day in the rain on one set of tires unless they are brand new or damn near close to new tires. i went thru 3 sets of 40% tread at hialeah speedway the one day that it had rained for the tertech event. and when I go out playing in the rain on the road, I have about 40% tread and come home almost completely bald. but then again I go faster in the rain then the dry when i drift so that could be a factor in my theory also.

sweetness it'll be easier with daniel's car 300zx na open diff with susp bits but the car might not be running till sometime tomarrow and if its not and it rains I will take the supra out for a few slides till mike comes with his s12 and then i'll take that ***** out haha CA18ET mofo's!
