No, they call the 335i when they swap the SOHC 3.5L from the 5 series into the e30. It's a nightmare to deal with fitment (especially if you want to try to save the weight distribution)... but it's nice and torquey.

It's Harri's motor in an e30.
 
Sweet, sounds awesome and looks like lots of fun wish I had some power right now, Damn S12 has trouble pulling a second gear donut on 195/60/15's that are crap
 
I shredded K106 Hankooks today :( They were semi brand new tires too... I'm kinda mad they shredded.

BTW...that car was actually sold in south africa as 335i...not necessarily a built car...because it was factory built
