nissan 240 sohc keeps cutting out HELP!

I have a 240 sohc and it runs good and stuff. Yet it keeps cutting ou. like when running,when i shift into 4th it will cut out, and even like when i'm just going 80. it cuts out and dogs down til a certain speed to where it then kicks in,and it's at differ. speeds and gears and everything. Its happened when taking off, it's happened when doing burnouts even when doing donuts..I dont know what could be the problem. Any one have any ideas and how to fix it?

when i punch it and i shift into second, it will start cutting out;also in third gear at 5 1/2 rpms when punching it, or driving normal, and it cuts out in 4th gear also. I have no clue what it is. Im talking it will even cut out in 5th gear, and i cant even get over 95 mph and it constantly cuts out. When i say cut out, i mean like it will dogg down, and if you keep pushing on the gas,it's like it's a dead pedal , so i can shift to fourth gear from third. and back to third and it iwll kick back in. And i can go again but it will then cut out once i get back to the same rpms.

I thought it might be spark,so i replaced:
spark plug and wires
then thought it might be fuel so i replaced:
fuelpump,fuel filter,injectors,and fuel rail

none of this fixed it .and ihavent the slightest clue what else it could be.


someone PLEEEAAASSSEE HELP!!!
 
EGR or AIV... The AIV may be clogged or the EGR might be stuck (open or closed can't remember) Also check your vac lines... and your IACV

Also check your grounds.. hmm I know there is more to check but i'm drawing a blank..

if you don't know what any of that stuff is then go do a search on NICO

^Hit it right on the nail......also check for codes on your ECU, buy a factory service manual!!!!
 
hey hey hey put the fuking computer i have in there and see if that shyt werks meng goddamn. its like your hiutting a speed limiter in every gear. thank you good day.
 
ichecked the egr and it was working fine.I also checked the aiv and it looked ok.

that happened to my friends 240, the sensor got messed up and it would only let you go like 75-80. does your spedo work now??
 
so i had my buddy at nissan take it in at little or no cost because i work all week and i want it done before osw next weekend.

no the hud does not work or any of the lights
