Now this comparison is not really fair on the Sigma because i'm comparing a $1,200.00 Nikon lens to $500 Sigma lens, but I just wanted to show you guys the difference between consumer glass, and pro glass.
I've decided to jump back in the photography game, and decided I needed a little upgrade. So I jumped on a Nikon 17-55 F2.8 lens, and man, this lens is fucking incredible! When I got home it was dark, so I wasn't able to take any pictures outside, but here's a comparison to my Sigma lens.

Look how much sharper the 17-55 is compared to the 24-70. You can also see the difference in contrast that the Nikon lens delivers.
