has anyone see the new altima commercial? every company is now trying to make every car a driftable car. its hilarious after tokyo drift everything was about drifting now every car has the "capability" to drift what do you guys think bout this ?

It's always been about drifting, even before the movie. I guess now whenever you see a car company showing drifting you picture the movie.
Companies constantly use drifting to show the performance of the car "at the limit", carefully followed by the "Professional Driver on Closed Course. Do not attempt"

if you walk into the mazda dealer before the new miata came out, all they had was pictures of the mazdaspeed miata at full lock with billowing smoke. to them it just looks "cool".

another trend im noticing especially with nissan/infinity is highlighting design(sketching/styling) in their commercials, which is pretty cool, considering thats what im shooting for as a career
thanks for posting up the video lets review you can get a ticket for "wreckless Driving" even arrested but here are the companys selling there cars by promoting drifting but they get mad when were tearing up the streets

OK NOw that Im done I watched the commercial 2 times and come to realize. If you think that is drifting you need to join another forum. The car slide to a stop.

You tried to point out that companies try to make it a "driftable" car when they are not. The car just lost traction, big deal. A drift is prolonged oversteer carried out through an entire corner. The Altima just oversteered to a stop. Most car commercials show some sort of "extreme" driving.... doesnt mean they try to make it a drift car. These types of commercial have been out for YEARS before any of the F&F movies even came out.
