so im looking for an s14. anyway i know theres a huge debate of how sr's are better than ka's and ka's are better than sr's. for drifting, a reliable motor that can put out some decent numbers on the dyno? any help would be really appreciated thanks

have you tried the search button? on here im sure some1 has that kinda info and even then the almighty GOOGLE (bows head)

from another thread on another fourm.

SR20DET-
Pros:
-JDM Tyte
-Already turboed from the factory
-Better aftermarket support
-Lighter
-Better high-end
-Easier swap

Cons:
-Electrical work
-You have no idea what the condition of the engine is in
-Replacement parts are harder to find

KA24D/ET-
Pros:
-Low-end Torque
-Engines/parts are easier to find
-Cheaper
-No harness work

Cons:
-Custom work needed (oil bung, downpipe)
-Heavier
-Harder to do/additional knowledge needed

{i have a litely moded ka , (intake exhaust) and i dont have any complaints dose the job, could use a little more power though.}

ka's are a shit load of fun, would i would tell u to do is stick to ur car na first and get ur hands on a stand and another ka, (which isnt much ive sold and bought kas from 50 to 300 dollars) and just build that one for ka-t, the ka-t can get a tad expensive if ur one of those ppl that like to go all out, but their alot of fun. go on ka-t.org if u wana look up some nice build and get some ideas
