intercooler location

im trying to mount my intercooler between the radiator and radiator support, with the inlet/outlet at the top and have as little IC piping as possible. ive seen one or two on here, does anyone have any feedback as to pros/cons, how to mount it, and what kind of IC piping to use? i figure any metal shop can mount it if i show them the location but what about the bottom rad holes, and universal IC piping kit and cut to fit?

im also going to be running <300 hp, do i need an intercooler that big, and do you have ANY issues with overheating? especially in this florida weather?

setup is better for heat.....i didnt past 160 after driving hard as fuck
 
If you need any custom intercooler setup let me know i carry a variety of intercoolers, cores (can make custom intercoolers), couplers, and piping!
