well i bought a shell as some of you already know i was hoping it had a good motor because it had no spark i was hoping to fire it up take it for a joy ride and yank the motor and tranny to sell it, but i discovered the idler pully for the timing chain broke loose causeing the distributor to disconnect itself from it and bending all the vaulves on the exhaust side. 
Now i was told it had decent compression but as soon as i turned the key over for the 1st time here at my shop i heard no compression so i checked it and i was like shit i tokk off the vaulve cover and found the problem so i procedded and took the whole motor apart im not mad at the owner because he said it had decent compression even though it had no compression, and the spark plugs in it were brand new Never saw the car run so it eliminated the it just stopped running story, but w/e i wasted my time checking the car but whats done is done im not mad at him :bigthumbu he prolly didnt even know but i could be wrong because someone did a head job on the car and stripped out the threads on the idler pully and on ALOT of freaking bolts in the head so im just gonna cut my losses and A.get a ca swap B. get another KA and boost it or C.get another ka motor and put cams lightend flywheel pullys, and aluminum driveshaft msd ignition and a few outher things and see how it runs N/A and boos it later.
another downside is that the passenger tie rod is bent NASTY so i go to change that shit to and get a exhaust and a bunch of outher shit i was planing on changing anyway
few now that that is out im gonna take a few pics of my progress for u guys :bigthumbu then im gonna put the car on the lift and yank the block and tranny
p.s super hicas FTL i got to pull the whole shit out and remove the abs i think the only good thing is the LSD :bigthumbu
