ok so im putting the whole push button start deal in my 240.. i've got most of it under control. i have a toggle switch for ACC with the blue wire, another toggle switch for IGN with the black and white wire, starter button with the black and yellow wire. the problem is there is one more wire.. its black and green, and i have no idea what it is for?? ground maybe??

you should of tested the wires before you starting hacking stuff up to see how each one is used.

Ok 2 things:

1. I don't get the smiley

2. Theirs about 6 write ups on this topic

to answer your question, on the side of your ignition switch their are about 5 to 6 wires. 3 are black and have some other striped color (don't know off the top of my head) these must all make contact in order for ignition to occur.
