I want to learn how to weld!!!!

I really would like to learn how to weld. So if theres anyone out there that would like to help me out PLZ tell me. I want to learn before I go off to college because I know I'm going to be needing it for art projects and for my car. :bigthumbu

unless you have quite a bit of experiance you are going to scrap alot of material with the tube bender. Remember you have to buy each die for the different diameter pipe you want to bend (if you want them correct).
 
we should all put a collection together for a storage place and turn it into a shop/practice place to learn and stuff

m kinda young but thats all i do in skool ive been working on building a chassi for some project i had in mind but that went to hell..( good welding not enough time) um i think i have a mig stored some were so wen i find it im more than happy to share some knowledge .... but im not great and im young so im still learning but im willing to teach wat ive learned.... um by the way mig is sooooooo easyy the hard part is um arc ... and acetaling those are kinda an art but wat eva pm if anything.
 
hey whatever you can share would be awsome, do you have equipment? if you caould come check out my car and give me some pointers id spot you gas money

yeah just got from skool and gonna search the shed and then i got another shed in my grand parents house but most likly ill find it .... but i leave to daytona this weekend actually 2morrow and come bak on sat. but im deff down to show wat i got.

With proper material and dies i bend 90degrees all day long, Gotta know how to do it. proper cage material dose not kink like exhaust. But i have other ways of putting togeather down pipes with out "kinks" n stuff.
 
gangster...just pm me when ur down, ill try to have some matterial ready hopefully some cromoly.........do u do body work aswell or paint?
