What can I do? I was at the skatepark and long story short, i land on my back, with my left foot behind my back, and what cushioned the fall was my foot arched back on my toes. Well Its a day later and I cant walk on it, and when I walk my big toe "pops" and I dont have fucking insurance for 30days (just applyd to it LAST WEEK) so im fucked right? I always heard that a hospital has to treat you, its the law or something, but will they do a xray on someone with no insurance??? Im about to goto ER and see, but I want to see what you guys have to say first.

dude... you better go cause if that shit heals wrong... haha.. it will hurt much worse when they have to break your foot again. look, whats it worth to you? isnt your health the top proirty.

Health is #1 but I don't have that kind of money....
 
Yeah they'll treat you - then send you 15 different bills over the next couple months for EVERYTHING that happens while you're there. If its your foot, there's probably nothing they'll do anyway. IDK though - I broke 2 metatarsals, three phalanges, and had a toe nail ripped off and all they did is give me crutches and wrap it up. Then again, I broke my toe on my left foot about a year ago and tried to set it myself - now that foot always cramps up when i bend my toes certain ways. Try a walk in clinic. They can do the xrays, it will be far cheaper and faster, and if you need orthopedic work they'll tell you. If you do go to the ER, bring lube b/c you will get raped.

Theres one down the street. But if I show up with no insurance will they say fuck off?
 
But what If I dont have any money? Its not a tow thats broke, its inside my foot somewhere I think. And I think I can feel it on every toe.

My mom's a nurse. She said I should wait a few days and then go if its still bad. I was thinking of insurance fraud and workers comp but I think the ER will realize on monday that its been damaged for a few days already... Im going to try to borrow Seans crutches, I want to go watch the drifting today, I need to finsih my car, desoto is next month. Man this fucks it all up.

i'm really good at making homemade casts. i was rocking one at the last west palm event... no insurance either and i hate doctors. lol
 
dude I broke my leg to and I didn't have insurance! X-ray and casting was just about 6K at jackson memorial hospital and they are suppose to be the cheapest because that hospital get lots of help from the goverment..
I wish I just went home right after they told me all I needed was a cast! b/c the casting was about 4500 and all they did was cover my leg with cotton and fibergass....those son of bitches, I could have done that my self.
