do i remove and clean the iacv?

Take off the bolts then pry it off (pry because it's probably going to be a little stuck to the gasket). Then clean with rag/qtips and some alcohol/carb cleaner/gasoline and thats it. Put a new gasket on or silicone it.

it's underneath the intake manifold i suggest taking the manifold off and then you can work on removing and cleaning the iacv.
