How not to drift

When I got on track though, trying to drive smoothly just wasnt doing it.

Yes it was a big event, but I dont really get nervous when I drive. I do know how to drive and I got aggressive because I had to.

I've decided that it was ultimately the clutch. Yes I need more power, but if the clutch had done its job I could have limped through it.

Oh well...... next time I suppose...
i wasnt in any way saying that you didnt know what you were doing, or that you shouldnt have been that aggressive, i was just pointing it out b/c i found it impressive... :bigthumbu
ive seen a good bit of your driving on vid and in person, i know you know what your doin. :)

next time Sean FTW :driving:

Do you mean me going to Ohio with a 190hp car ? I was registered so I had to go and I intended to have the car turbo, but I wasted time and in the end it didnt work out... should have brought clutch with me and changed it in Ohio though.

No I mean why even bother thinking about a turbo when your car had loose ends like the clutch. Prioritize!

I was replying to the post above yours as well as yours. No big deal. I dont know what it sounds like to others, but I dont think I am any super driver or anything. I know I can drive well when everything is in place, but I need a lot more track time to be where I want to be. That's why I'm doing so many events lately.

Dooood..... you were there, all I was thinking about was roll cage. Yea I procrastinated and diddled around the week before when I should have been doing the clutch instead of fitting the intercooler, I had some hallucination that I could have the car turbo'd, caged, widebodied, gold plated, and carbon tubbed in time for the event....

but those last 2 days... weld weld weld... Ive got the peeling skin all over to prove it, shït... I think the cage was still warm when I rolled into Ohio... :)

pic request of said cage. I might have a few questions for you.

I know Sean felt rushed with that cage and was not happy with some of it...maybe he'll post pics of his s13's cage which is FUCKING BALLER to say the least. :bigthumbu
