help for event

Ok so i just preregged b/c not only do i wat to drift but i want to see this event happen, i dont want another Dania parking lot incident again. Ok anyways, theres like a little less than 2 weeks til the OSW event and my car is still messed up, if you dont know what im talkin about just check my past two posts on this...... http://www.sfldrifters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1197

Now i really need the help so if anyone would like to help me out so i can actually drift in this event i would really appreciate it...Im looking for like some1 who really knows KAs....especially electrical stuff....i would seriously pay some1 to come and look at my car....i seriously need this...anyone??!?!?!?!?
 
That sucks man, I wish i knew more about Nissans and KA's to help you out, I'm only like 10mins away from Parkland. Have you tried going to Nissan related forums, talk to any electricians? Something has to be loose if when you go over bumps, accelerate hard (quick jerk of the car when you accelerate hard) the dash goes crazy as you say. Why couldnt you have an 86 with a 4ag in it lol. I'll see what I can do, I'll ask reliable sources I know.

Ok...I dont know where you located at but if you live close to Miami Lakes you can pass by at the Pep boys that I work at and I'll have a master technician take a look at it.........

really? cuz i went to some local shops and they said they wudnt touch it cuz its a swapped motor..... how far is miami lakes from the friday pembroke pines SFL meets?

go south on flamingo rd. and folllow the big curve that will lead you into 57 ave,,,,go str8 until the palmetto (826) if you get there then you passed us we are right before it and next dooor neighbors to Maroone Ford and the old Walmart

hey One80, Cars need 3 things to run... Fuel, Fire, & Compression... For one, buy a compression gauge and compression test the motor. Make sure its not an internal problem. If its not, Check & see if theres a ground to the ECU. Your problem seems electrical to me.

trust me bro, ive tried everything i can think of...i changed my MAF, i grounded my main ground to a different spot, i changed my battery terminal connects, and just other little ****, im just out of idea, so thats y im bringing my help to here cuz i have 9 days to get it fixed

MY CAR IS FIXED!!!! Thanks to Giocomo (Redline 03) and his dad, his dads the F'in man!
You guys will prolly be pissed on how simple and noobish it was but it was hte battery terminals...they were dirty out the wazooo....we took a volt meter to em and the positive side was like almost 80 percent resitant, and we were like ****! so we sanded both down and cleaned it up and made it look all nice and bam! i can run 1st and 2nd gear out and i can go over bumps and still have my radio on! Thanks again to Giocomo and his dad! you guys are my heroes!
 
Hey no problem, just trying to help out a fellow "car guy." Its cool knowing I have some cool people close to me.

Finally, the sad thing is we said check the terminals, and you said you did but hey glad its running. Now rip it up.

yea i checked up but i guess i didnt know how dirty dirty actually is when it comes to terminals, but yea im just happt all thats over with and my mind is set on the 1st turn at orlando
