Flywheel question. TY

Here is the flywheel I bought. Im doing a 5-speed swap and when I went to AutoZone asking for a Flywheel the total came up to 100something. I thought it was only the flywheel i needed, wtf is the "core". Do i need it? The guy at the AutoZone told me i could return the old "core" and get the 90 buck back. Help im Confused. Thanks

i used to work at advanced auto same shyt tho.....the core is just the old flywheel...u return the flywheel and u get $90 back

In the picture there are two diff pieces whith different amount of teeth. i dont need both parts?
