I dont know how to wire the reverse light. Can some one help me expalining which cables to wire please

any way to turn of CEL? beside removing the bulb

After I put the clutch pedal, I saw a gray box right on top of pedal which I dont know what it is for can I skip that?

Lastly , Any one know how to jumper the wires that comes to shifter there is like 6-7 wires up there..

thanks already. Beside the car rans just right

dont worry about the reverse i have never wired them
lol...
the cell will be there as long as you keep on using the auto ECU... it senses the neutral switch is not on and gives you the MIL.... the the speedometer is weird, look at the wire diagram and see if you accidentaly have some sort of wrong connection...

As much as I would love to say don't worry about the reverse lights, If you are driving it daily, you should wire them. There are so many people in parking lots that only realize a car is backing up when they see the white lights lit up in the back. I wired mine up last week after 6 months of not having them, and I haven't been honked at or had some stupid bitch yell or curse me out behind the wheel of her car since.

There is a switch on the transmission that is triggered when you put the car into reverse. Im not sure exactly what it is called, the 5thgear/reverse switch, it should have some wires coming out and after you find that, it is all a matter of finding which wires go to the reverse lights.

The Speedo thing may be a malfunction in the speed sensor or some kind of wiring error. Check all your connections, and if available try swapping speed sensors to see if you get different results.

If you have the wrong computer, like the auto tranny, it will give you a malfunction code because there are differences in the auto and manual ECU's and sensors that may or may not be read or triggering a the malfunction light.

About all those extra wires... I don't know what they are for... so... let someone else get to that... for now, just zip-tie them to an inconspicuous location....

EDIT: Ricky Cash beat me to posting lol... maybe his links will help... :p
