Federal tires

Has anyone used these tires and had good luck?
I ran a set of ss595 Federal's 240 treadwear and they chunked up so bad the first run in Desoto, It was like they were retreads. On there website they say great drift tires, what are they talking about, use them on the front.
235/40/18's at 40psi on a 18x10 one run & dun.

I ran them a few times and they lasted a very long time. Harri has used them on his BMW too.

he used them in the front or the rear? i heard they are decent grip tires...but i also heard they are decent rear tires as well...
