With the weather playing a major factor in determining the success of some of the drivers, only 1 made it through to compete for tomorrows event. Chelsea Denofa managed to score a 91.5 on his first run right before the rain came down to cause havoc on the surface. Chelsea felt confident enough with his score that he decided to pass on his second qualifying run and quite frankly I don't blame him.

Both Jeremy Lowe and Patrick Goodin spun in their first run but delivered similar runs in their second attempt. Jeremy Lowe with a score of 45 was knocked out but Patrick Goodin for a time stood as the 32nd qualifier of the day. This is the second time Pat has been in this situation as the first occurrence took place at PBIR. It didn't take long until other drivers scored high enough to knock Patrick out.

Although it was easy for some of the drivers to fail by spinning out, Zoltan Hadju fought the battle of his life as he relentlessly worked to keep the car together in his first qualifying run. Many felt he was going to spin out in certain areas but he proved everyone wrong as he completed the course without a single spin. His battle cost him the win as he corrected so many times that the judges gave Zoltan a 37. He would later secure a defeat by spinning out on his second run.

With only 1 Florida driver taking part in tomorrows competition, all eyes are on Chelsea. At this point everyone can agree that the weather is going to play a vital role in determining a victory in tomorrows event. Can Chelsea use it to his advantage? Find out tomorrow.

Update: Well I was wrong with my report in regards to Chelsea's second qualifying attempt. It wasn't that he decided to pass on purpose, what I just found out was that he experienced a mechanical failure just before his second run.

We're into the practice session now and he's being towed off the track. Hopefully he can sort out all the issues in time for tomorrow.

That fucking transition is stupid. I got tired of watching every car have problems going through it.
