Driver side window switch

Just received the driver side window switch from a 97 240sx but the connections are different than my 98 240sx SE. Why is this? I can only get a window switch from a 98? The two switches look exactly the same but the connections are different. What should I do?

I dont have any lol. this one supposively came out of a 97 SE. i got a 98 SE. wouldnt they be the same?

no they arent the same... the one you got is probably from a 95, as those are year specific, 96-98 should be the same.

the guy i got it from said it came from a 97 SE. Parted it out on Zilvia.net. So I should probably sell this one and get a 96-98? The problem with mine is that the auto button stays stuck at the down position. Im still going to get a motor because the amp still clicks. any input??
