DOHC tachometer problem

i had to remove the needle from the tachometer to replace the illuminating back to the tach when i swithed to the HUD dash. now the needle is "lazy" and doesnt show the correct RPM's. any idea on how to fix it?

I think you could take it to a speedometer calibration company and they can fix it up nice. But im pretty sure finding another cluster will be easier.
