Kazama couldnt get the hang of it as easy as I thought he mightve....
we're used to using our feet for most of the acclerating and braking of a car and when we're not using our legs and feet for anything then everythings changed...
Our mind has a hard time adapting.
Im sure its pretty hard to get used to that machine.
I also read the feature in Super Street last year sometime.

Good find!!!:bigthumbu

that is an amazing machine and he's an even more amazing person for not letting anything get in his way of his passion! He was doing great. MAD respect to the driver and the builders of that car. (bow for respect) :bigthumbu

The guy explaining the controls is Ito from WELD; the company that built the car.
WELD is an incredible shop with religiously loyal customers. Mainly because Ito and his staff really know there stuff. His ideas and fabrication skills are top notch. There D1 car also looks so good.

My freind Calvin (Welddrft on our local forums) worked there for a few years and actually left there as they were beginning the build on this car. This is not the first car they built for this customer. An accident with a city truck caused the damage to his legs; he now has the money to build whatever he wants.

Many of you meet Calvin at the last Fairgrounds practice event. He was the black guy with a beautiful black S13 on chrome JIC wheels. It had the meticulously clean built SR with Greddy turbo setup with custom intercooler and wastegate piping. It is also the only car int he us with WELD parts all over it since they are always sending him free shit! Too bad his clutch blew at that event. His fab skills are also top notch, he makes some bad ass catch tanks or anything else you can draw up! I know its a bit far away for you guys; but, we all use him up here in N Florida.

Check this one out too
