Differential Bushings

Ok, I need some new differential bushings. I've been looking online at stuff and I think I'm gonna go with something like the SPL solids. However, when I look at instructions it just says "remove old bushings". All the instructions I find say that. I've never replaced bushings before, are the diff bushings like the subframe bushings. I mean am I gonna have to cut/chisel/etc to get them out, or do they just slide out like the instructions imply? I just wanna know before I start. Any help would be great, thanks.

When I replaced my dif bushings (The ones closest to the front of the car) Mine just fell out and were pretty much missing. I replaced them with GM suspension bushings that I cut in half and stuck in place. They worked fine like brand new.
