I have a 97' miata, what are some decent coilovers I could get?

Also, I'm not looking to get the most top end shit in the world but I don't want to get a piece of shit either.

Thanks for the suggestions in advance guys.

bro.

not trying to be a dick....but search man.miata forums/roadster drift/google/ect.

depends what your really using your car for. a good amount of companies make decent coils. you got the super duper cheapies that are like under $300 which are raceland coils and can seriously be used for slamming with no remorse. think of your stock suspension and soft feel but with the ability to make it go super low and yes they are NOT dampner adjustable. then there are a bunch of other coils in the middle. megan, D2, Ksport, Cusco, Stance, BC racing. and then you have the big boy stuff. like JIC FlatA2s that are like $2700 for a set. ( might have gone down this is when they first came out a while back). i believe ohlin has a coilover for miatas and so does Zeal but i dont think you plan on spending over $5k in coils.

the reason i said it depends what your planning on doing with the car because each manufacture of coilover has been designed for semething a big different than the next...like they all have different spring rates...

Well I want the car to have a stiff ride, but not back breaking, and I want to lower it considerably, I just don't want to have to save up till the end of time for them, is there anything in the 600-1000 range that can do this?

lol that first site this is what it says as warnings hahaha

The disassembly of the shock absorber must be performed by Raceland mechanics. Please contact Raceland for information on the service required and the related labor cost and time necessary to complete any disassembly work. We do not accept any responsibility for any injuries or damage created by disassembling of the Raceland shocks by yourself. This should only be done by Raceland mechanics. We caution you from driving on dirt roads and getting sand and grit on the threaded areas which may damage the threaded area and piston. If the piston rod is scratched, then the oil seal needs to be replaced, which we can do at Raceland. Please do not attempt to replace the oil seals because it is very dangerous. It contains highly compressed gases in the shock absorber. Do not drill the shock absorber because it will create flames. We recommend you do not modify the Raceland coil over.
